How to Watch Marvel Movies in Order? – MCU Marathon

Planning an MCU marathon this Quarantine? Here is a guide to thoroughly enjoy Marvel movies in order of release and chronological order. The difference is the story perspective and order of watching. if you go with the chronological order, you have to watch Steve Rogers fighting red skull. Marvel movies in order of release is a bit different. Here you have to start with Tony Stark transforming into the Iron Man.

2020 has made us bored at home and it is the right time to binge-watch Marvel movies. Many Marvel movies are set to release and the list is growing with black widow and the Eternals this year. But we are quite unsure because of the lockdown and how it has affected the Marvel timeline.

Now, where to stream all the marvel movies? Disney plus is slowly acquiring all the marvel movies and Netflix has some of these movies. To be precise, Disney Plus streams 18 movies from the list of 23 Marvel movies. But unfortunately, SpiderMan won’t be able to make it due to Sony and Universal owning them. However, Ant-man and the wasp and Black panther should make it soon. This will let you watch almost all the marvel movies marathon in a single place. Many Marvel movies are also available on Amazon and other streaming services such as iTunes.

Why watch marvel movies in the list of order? Many Marvel movies are related to each other such as Bucky Barnes killing the parents of Iron man and Tony getting to know it in Avengers: Age of Ultron. There are many more connections which you need to know and not skip any of the marvel movies. If you closely watch the marvel movies list, as per the order of release and a chronological timeline. You will find a slightly different storyline and may skip some of the important chapters.

I am a Newbie, Which Order Should I Follow to Watch Marvel Movies?

marvel movies

If you are a newbie, you should avoid watching the marvel movies list in chronological order. One simple reason, you will miss the strong character background of few avenger heroes. It makes no sense of watching a superhero movie and waiting 30-40 screen hours for their cameos.

Also, watching back to back your favorite characters movie will take away all your interest and storyline from other movies. I did that mistake with watching all the Iron movies at once and missed some major plots.

So, when do I watch the Marvel movies list in chronological order? If you are done watching all the Avenger movies to the latest “End Game”, a chronological list is the best. You will brush up the storyline and relate it to the upcoming releases. Also, it is the best way to bring out new meanings to the scenes we missed in the first watch. Now, that you have seen all the MCU movies and planning a marathon, watch them right in chronological order to get most out of it.

Watching Marvel movies in order of release leads us with a strong storyline and narration, also you can divide your binge-watch into phases.
